Thesis: Hybrid Intrusion Detection Systems (HIDS) using Data Mining Techniques.
A Hybrid (Signature and Anomaly) IDS is implemented to identify Denial-of-Service attacks. Signature based IDS uses the patterns mined from the Attack Database, and the Anomaly IDS uses a clustering algorithm.
